To set up your new iPhone, follow these step-by-step directions:

  1. Press and hold the Side Button (on the right side of your device) until the Apple logo appears to turn the phone on. Select your language and country/region on the welcome screen.
  2. Connect to Wi-Fi by choosing your Wi-Fi network from the list. Enter the password and tap Join.
  3. Activate your iPhone. If your iPhone has a SIM card, insert it into the SIM card tray using the provided ejector tool. Follow the on-screen instructions to activate your iPhone.
