What does this mean? Cricket customers with a compatible device can already access super-fast 5G+ networks at a growing footprint of major airports coast to coast - from Honolulu to Tampa. Now they can also access Wi-Fi seamlessly. This benefit gives them access to hundreds of additional hotspots for a fast Wi-Fi experience across the U.S. These hotspots are seamless, easy, secure Wi-Fi connections enabled by Boingo at many major airports, military installations, sports stadiums, transportation hubs and other high-traffic areas. Where available, Cricket customers will automatically connect to Wi-Fi. Tapping into this technology helps keep customer connections fast and secure in these venues.
How does it work? It’s simple to use since Cricket and Boingo are automating these connections behind-the-scenes. Customers living, working or visiting areas covered by these expanded Wi-Fi access points can now make calls and get super-fast internet with secure two-way authentication in more places. Plus, they can do this all without using their data because Cricket is adding these benefits at no extra cost to customers.
