The Cricket HBCU Campus Ambassador Program has grown since our 2021 inaugural class! It is another way we are working to extend our relationships with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) beyond sports and music programs. Our Ambassadors serve as the bridge between the schools they attend and the brand they represent.

Students across MEAC, SWAC, and recently SIAC schools get the opportunity to grow their marketing acumen, build their network, and create campaigns while generating excitement for the Cricket Wireless brand. Top performing Ambassadors have received internships and business opportunities, for instance our relationship with MyQueal Williams has evolved following his graduation from Florida A&M University. His creative eye and arts company Queality Productions has produced visual content at several Cricket sponsored events, campaigns, and has led him to grow his career with our partner  agency.

We are proud to spotlight our dynamic Cricket HBCU Campus Ambassadors. We’ve officially launched a year-long program profiling these young leaders and the organizations that mean the most to them. Check out NyAshia, Alabama State University student as she kicks off this special program by giving back to the I Am Arts Foundation – an organization that has shaped her into the creative she is today.

More About Our Campus Ambassador Program
Since 2018, Cricket Wireless has supported HBCU programs. As an extension of becoming title sponsors of the MEAC/SWAC Challenge Kickoff, Celebration Bowl, and donating scholarships for marching band programs through the National Battle of the Bands, our Campus Ambassador Program serves to help students develop professionally.

Cricket HBCU Campus Ambassadors connect with different facets of Cricket’s Marketing organization. Students are tasked with developing and executing marketing plans for their campuses, in conjunction with field marketing managers, the social media team, and Authorized Retailers.
