More than 90 percent of the country is currently under some type of shelter-in-place order to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Despite these restrictions on our mobility, technology and human ingenuity have made it possible to still participate in many of our favorite out-of-home activities in home. In fact, some of us have even uncovered new interests and talents.

Take John Dwyer, president of AT&T’s Prepaid Wireless Portfolio, which consists of Cricket Wireless and AT&T PREPAID. Since sheltering in place, John has taken up running with his son (he admits that his son is faster, but he’s working to increase his pace), which is a great bonding time for them. Another way he unwinds after work is by walking between 5-6 miles every day, something he hasn’t done in a long time. And on the weekends, he’s even streamed a couple of new TV shows based on the recommendations from friends. All pretty standard stuff. What’s not standard—at least, not for John—is his newfound joy in feeding the squirrels in his yard and watching them play. Yep, over the last few weeks, John has become a squirrel enthusiast. See for yourself

For many, staying at home for so many weeks can become monotonous. In fact, it can start making you feel downright squirrelly. But, if you can change your mindset or jazz up your current routine, you just might discover a new you.

Following are a few free resources to help you find the new you…or at least, to help keep the old you entertained. And since we're all in this together, please share some of the at-home activities that are keeping you from going nuts using #ConnectedTogether.
