Cricket was recently named to Atlanta Business Chronicle’s “2016 Atlanta’s Best Places to Work.”

Many of Cricket’s Atlanta-based employees had to proactively complete a survey for the company to be considered for the annual list of top 100 companies to work for in Atlanta.

"In just our second year of calling Atlanta home, one of its most important publications has recognized Cricket as having one of the best workplace environments in the greater metropolitan area," said President John Dwyer. "Our employees expressed their satisfaction with working at Cricket and it means the world to us that we have met their diverse needs as an employer. A top-notch employee experience is what allows us to deliver on our mission of giving prepaid wireless customers something to smile about."

Cricket’s ability to foster a leading workplace environment is due to employee-led initiatives, such as the:

    • Loyalty Committee – a cross-functional representation of the company that keeps Cricket’s finger on the pulse of employee engagement in every part of the workplace experience, from orientation to professional development.
    • “Going the Extra Smile” Philosophy – a set of guiding principles and behaviors that facilitate seamless, effortless and enjoyable employee and customer interactions.
    • Smile Tile Program – a peer-to-peer recognition program that allows employees to send digital certificates of appreciation to their colleagues and immediate supervisors.
    • Cricket University – a world-class online and in-person learning environment that empowers employees to broaden their skill set with courses that are hand-selected by senior company executives.

"Our employees are spread throughout the country and the national workforce has a stake in this honor," President John Dwyer wrote to his employees in congratulatory note. "From Cricket stores, to our regional offices, to our call centers, we operate as one team. We all positively impact each other's employee experience and collectively embody what Cricket represents to Atlanta and the nation."
