We have some great news! Some of the Cricket retail locations in New Mexico are now open. We still have some that remain temporarily closed - due to a mandate from the Governor of New Mexico.

Cricket Wireless Gives Relief to People Facing Financial Hardship – Updated on 4/24/2020

The need for affordable data access options is more important than ever as the country adjusts to a new normal. Many are looking for ways to reduce their monthly spending due to loss of income or other hardships, and Cricket is here to help.

As of Friday, March 27, Cricket began offering new ways to help customers during this tough time.

We have launched a new limited time phone plan:

  • The new $15 plan comes with 2GB of data, unlimited talk and text, and will be available for a limited time. Offer ends May 14. No activation fee required.1

We are adding data to capped and unlimited phone plans through May 14:2

  • Automatically adding 10GB of data to capped plans for new and existing customers. That means if you're on the $30/2GB plan or the $40/5GB plan, you'll get an additional 10GB of data for mobile hotspot or smartphone use for two bill cycles. After two bill cycles, you will no longer receive the additional data.
  • Automatically adding 10GB of data to unlimited plans for new and existing customers. That means if you’re on the $55 unlimited plan without mobile hotspot, you will receive 10GB of data for hotspot use. If you’re on the $60 unlimited plan with 15GB of mobile hotspot, you’ll get an additional 10GB of data for mobile hotspot use. Both plans will receive the additional data for two bill cycles. After two bill cycles, you will no longer receive the additional data.3

The $15 2GB limited time offer will be available to new customers starting Friday, March 27 online at www.cricketwireless.com, via the MyCricket app, or in store. If you’re heading to a Cricket store please check store hours of operation first.

New Jersey Stores Reopen, Deemed Essential Business – 3/25/2020

Cricket Wireless stores in New Jersey have been authorized by the Office of the Governor of New Jersey to reopen starting today. After the initial mandate to close stores, New Jersey provided a revised list of essential retail businesses that specifically includes mobile phone retail and repair shops. Mall locations and certain other locations may remain temporarily closed. Check the Cricket store locator here for store hours.

Fees Waived for Customers Financially Affected by COVID-19 - Updated on 4/24/2020

Cricket is committed to keeping our customers connected to family, friends, and the latest information. To help customers affected financially by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are now waiving processing fees for IVR payments and service reactivation. Customers can pay their bill by phone through Cricket's Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. We are automatically waiving reactivation and IVR fees for customers until May 14.

Authorized Retailer Store Changes – 3/20/2020

Everyone, including local businesses, are being called upon to adjust how they operate to help limit social contact. In an effort to limit traffic in densely populated areas, some authorized retailer locations across the country are temporarily closing on Saturday, March 21.

This temporary change is being made to adhere to the social distancing guidelines from the CDC, while balancing the needs of our customers. We have worked to ensure that a core set of stores remain open so that communities have the ability to meet their critical needs.
